Mr. Lakhwinder Singh Sidhu, Advocate, for the petitioner. AMOL RATTAN SINGH J. (ORAL) Though by this petition, the petitioner seeks the concession of interim bail for a period of one month, as per the prayer made in the petition, but learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he is actually restricting the prayer to simply a direction by this Court that the petitioner be taken in custody to appear for the examinations that he is required to appear for, for the B.A.LLb (integrated five years course), under custody, on the dates of the examination between 13.05.2017 to 26.05.2017. Notice of motion.

On the asking of the court, Mr. Rajesh Mehta, Additional Advocate General, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent. A copy of the petition has been handed over to the learned State counsel.

In view of the aforesaid limited prayer, this petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent no.2 to ensure that the petitioner is taken in custody to appear for the aforesaid examinations on the dates that he is required to appear for them.
