PARAMJEET SINGH, J. (ORAL) This is a petition filed under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of concession of regular bail to the petitioners in case FIR No.202 dated 18.09.2014 registered under Sections 307/324/341/506/323/34 IPC (Sections 326/452/201 added and Section 341 deleted in challan) at Police Station Morinda, District Rupnagar.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioner No.1 has been attributed injury with sword, which has been declared to be simple and petitioner No.2 has been attributed injury on the left shoulder. Petitioners are behind bars since 16.12.2014. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the fact that trial would not be concluded in near future, petitioners can be granted concession of bail. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the petition is allowed. Petitioners are ordered to be released on bail on their furnishing bail bonds/surety bonds, to the satisfaction of Trial Court/Duty Magistrate, Rupnagar.
