Learned State counsel has today filed reply wherein a stand has been taken that upon inquires it had come to notice that husband of Usha Rani (alleged detenue) had expired in a road accident about 1 1⁄2 years back and that due to ill-treatment by her in-laws she started residing with her parents along with her two children at village Gidranwaii, District Sirsa. 2.

The said reply is accompanied by a copy of statement of Usha Rani (alleged detenue) wherein she has stated that she is residing with Raj Pal (respondent No.6) out of her own free Will and nobody has abducted her. 3.

The alleged detenue Usha Rani is present in person. Upon being quizzed she stated that she wishes to reside with respondent No.6-Raj Pal and that nobody has detained her forcibly.
