The petitioner by way of this writ petition has prayed for quashing of advertisement dated 10.05.1997, whereby applications were invited to fill-up the posts of Professor Ophthalmology. 2.

Since the selection process has already been over and no one appears on behalf of the petitioner, the writ petition has become otiose. 3.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as having become otiose.
