In the present writ petition, the grievance of the petitioner is that respondent No.6- Sarpanch has conducted himself in a manner that the rules and regulations have been violated.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that 400 green trees of village has been cut and that too in an illegal and arbitrary manner which action of respondent No.6 needs to be investigated. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner has already submitted a representation dated 09.01.2024 (Annexure P-8) to the Director, Panchayti Raj (Haryana), which is still pending consideration with the said authority and the petitioner will be satisfied at this stage in case a time bound direction is issued to respondent No.2 to decide the said representation by passing an appropriate speaking order.
