PANKAJ JAIN, J. (ORAL) This petition has been filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case F.I.R. No.9 dated 15.01.2020 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 22 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Act, 1985 (Section 29 of the NDPS Act added later on) at Police Station Dhariwal, District Gurdaspur. 2.
Custody Certificate of the petitioner has been filed today in Court. The same is taken on record.

Having heard counsel for the parties and after going through records of the case, when this Court does not inclined to grant bail, counsel for the petitioner prays that he would be satisfied if the trial be expedited. 4.
In view of above, the present petition is disposed off with the direction to the Trial Court to conclude the trial expeditiously preferably within a period of three months as the petitioner has a right to speedy trial guaranteed under Article 21 of the Constitution of India. 4.
Ordered accordingly.
