Vs Haryana Staff Selection Commission and another ...Respondents CORAM:HON'BLE MS. JUSTICE JAISHREE THAKUR
Present:
Mr. V.D. Sharma, Advocate for the petitioner.
Ms. Shubra Singh, Addl. A.G., Haryana.
-.- JAISHREE THAKUR J. (ORAL) The petitioner herein had applied for the post of Male Constable (General Duty), pursuant to advertisement issued by the Haryana Staff Selection Commission dated 16.04.2018.
After having participated in the selection process, petitioner's name was not reflected in the merit list prepared. Aggrieved against the non-inclusion, the petitioner herein filed the instant petition, while claiming that he would be entitled to the benefits of socio-economic criteria, which had wrongly been denied to him, keeping in view the fact that his sister was working in a government job.
Counsel for the petitioner would very fairly submit that in the revised list, his name stands reflected and has been given the necessary marks and therefore, his grievance does not survive. The instant petition dismissed as not pressed. However, while disposing of the instant petition, the respondent-State is directed to take necessary steps to offer appointment letter to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible, if all other conditions stand satisfied.
