Prayer made in the present petition is for directing the respondents to release the payment of gratuity calculating after adding of DA/ADA. 2.
As is apparent from the pleadings, reliance has been placed on a batch of petitions along with CWP-4995-1997 titled as Amar Nath Goyal and Others vs. State of Punjab and Others, decided on 03.05.2002, against which Civil Appeal No.129 of 2003 preferred by the State of Punjab was also dismissed on 05.08.2011.

The aforesaid facts having been brought out, during the course of hearing, learned State counsel, on instructions, states that the respondents would not be averse to have a relook at the matter and decide expeditiously, in accordance with law, which this Court has no reason to believe the authorities would not address in a just, fair and reasonable manner. 4.
