**** HARSIMRAN SINGH SETHI , J. (ORAL) In the present writ petition, the claim of the petitioner is that her husband, namely, Sh. Gurwinder Singh, unfortunately died on 14.08.2014 while he was in service. Her husband was working on daily wage basis starting from the year 1981 onwards and he continued working as such till 21.12.1988, when his services were converted as workcharged T/Mate. Thereafter, the services of the husband of the petitioner were regularized as an Assistant Lineman w.e.f. 10.07.2003. Counsel for the petitioner states that work charge service rendered by the husband of the petitioner should have been taken into consideration as a qualifying service for computing the pensionary benefits, which benefit was not given to her husband, which is contrary to NARESH KUMAR 2019.03.12 10:16 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

State of Punjab and others', AIR 1988 Punjab 265 Counsel for the petitioner further states that for the relief which has been sought in the present writ petition, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 04.07.2018 (Annexure P-7), which is still pending consideration with the respondents and the petitioner will be satisfied, at this stage, in case a time bound direction is issued to the respondents to decide the said representation. In view of the request made, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case and the claim being made by the petitioner, the respondents are directed to decide the representation dated 04.07.2018 (Annexure P-7) by passing a speaking order within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. In case after the decision, it is found that the petitioner is entitled for any monetary benefit, the same shall also be released to her within a period of next three months.

Present writ petition stands disposed of.
