CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE GURVINDER SINGH GILL Present:- Mr. Hoshiar Singh Jaswal, Advocate for the petitioner. Ms. Sheenu Sura, DAG, Haryana.
***** GURVINDER SINGH GILL, J.(Oral) 1.
Pursuant to direction issued by this Court on the last date of hearing, the learned State counsel has furnished the report submitted by the treating doctor of the petitioner namely Dr. Abhishek Gupta of Advanced Heart Lung & Critical Care Centre. The report reads as follows: "Patient Sukhvinder s/o Shri Chand Singh r/o H.NO 285, Ritauli, Rohtak, Haryana was presented to Aashirwad Advanced Heart Lung and Critical Care Centre for the first time on 10th December 2020 with the complaints of restrosternal chest pain for one day. Patient was admitted (vide UHID/IPD NO.9509/2020) and Coronary Angiography was done which showed single vessel disease (RDA 100% thrombotic stenosis). ( 2 ) CRWP-2897-2021 (O&M) next day in a stable condition. The patient was on regular follow up since then at monthly interval.
The patient again presented to us on 17th March 2021 with similar complaints of chest pain for which he was again admitted (vide UHID NO.9509/2020 and IPD NO.9674/2021) and Coronary Angiography was done which showed patent stent and no significant Coronary artery stenosis. The patient was observed for any complication and was discharged next day in a stable condition.
The patient requires life long treatment for his Coronary artery disease for which he requires supervision of a cardiologist on time to time basis. The patient is physically fit to perform his regular day to day activities and can take care of himself." 2.
In view of the aforesaid report, it is evident that the petitioner is suffering from some ailment for which he would be required life long treatment but he is physically fit to perform his regular day to day activities and can take care of himself.
3.
In view of the aforestated position, this Court does not find any ground for extension of parole on medical grounds. The petition, as such, is dismissed. 4.
The Jail Superintendent concerned is, however, directed to ensure that the requisite medical treatment as may be required by the petitioner is made available to him whatever required.
