The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking setting aside of adverse remarks recorded in his Annual Confidential Report for the period from 17.05.1992 to 17.12.1992.

The petitioner was appointed as Constable on 23.04.1973. He is assailing adverse remarks recorded in his Annual Confidential Report. He preferred representation which was dismissed by Director General of Police, Haryana. The adverse remarks were recorded on account of his absence from duty.
