M.M.S. BEDI, J. (ORAL) Petitioner in connivance with one Partap Singh and his wife Paramjit Kaur had committed forgery with the Insurance Company in order to get the amount of insurance policy obtained on his life by Partap Singh during his life time. The amount of Rs.1.9 crore approximately has already been recovered by the Insurance Company. The petitioner has been in custody w.e.f 15.3.2015. The challan has already been presented.

In view of above said circumstances, the petitioner can be granted the concession of bail as the trial is likely to take a long time.

The petition is allowed. It is ordered that the petitioner will be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds/surety
