SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) This petition is for seeking protection of life and liberty of petitioners, who alleged to have married against the wishes of respondents No. 4 to 6, parents and brother of petitioner No.1. Learned counsel for the petitioners has limited his prayer for taking appropriate action in accordance with law on the representation dated 19.05.2015 (Annexure P-5) made by the petitioners. It has been stated that both the petitioners are major. The date of birth of petitioner No.1-Harpreet Kaur is 18.06.1989 as per copy of Matriculation Examination Certificate (Annexure P-1) and that of petitioner No.2-Vishal is 27.02.1988 as per copy of Secondary School Examination Certificate (Annexure P-2). They got married on 19.05.2015. Photographs of marriage are Annexure P-3.

However, it is made clear that this order will have no effect on the validity of alleged marriage of the petitioners or on any other civil or criminal proceedings instituted against them.
