The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondents to re-issue her passport.

The petitioner being minor has applied for passport through her grandfather. The application was filed on 21.12.2023. The police verification has already been completed and there is no adverse report. The parents of the petitioner are residents of USA and she has an interview with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, US Department of Homeland Security, New Delhi on 18.03.2024.

documents. The petitioner would further submit documents as required by respondents.

Ms. Ruchita Garg, Advocate, submits that respondent has issued notice dated 07.03.2024 to petitioner to submit further documents. The petitioner should supply information as required by respondent within time specified in communication dated 07.03.2024. As soon as petitioner would comply with said letter, application of the petitioner would be processed, in accordance with law.
