**** HARKESH MANUJA, J. (ORAL) By way of present petition filed under Article 226 and 227 of Constitution of India, prayer has been made for issuance of directions to the official respondents to ensure the release of alleged detenue namely Aarti wife of Rakesh Singh.

Today, Aarti w/o Rakesh Singh has appeared before this Court along with SHO Gurdeep Singh Sandhu and Constable Jasvir Kaur, P.S. Mullepur, Fatehgarh Sahib and submits that having married respondent No.4 she is willing and intends to stay with him only. The petitioner besides his wife who happens to be the parents of Aarti have met her in the Court itself in the presence of aforementioned police officials as well as the counsels representing the respective parties. In view of the aforesaid stand taken by Aarti wife of Rakesh nothing survives to be adjudicated upon in the present petition, she TEJWINDER SINGH 2023.03.15 18:03 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRWP-2221-2023 -2being major having married respondent No.4 out of her own wish and will.

However, respondent No.4 has undertaken to deposit a sum of Rs.50,000/- in the name of his wife Aarti within a period of 15 days from today with a further undertaking to deposit another sum of Rs.5,000/- per month for a period of two years from today. The petitioner is also directed to hand over original passport, original passbook besides the original certificates of matriculation and 10+2 pertaining to Aarti to the SHO concerned i.e. respondent No.3 within a period of one week from today.

Disposed of accordingly.
