Prayer is under Section 482 Cr.PC read with Section 438 Cr.PC for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in Complaint Case NO.33/2-15 dated 4.11.2013 titled as Balwinder Kaur v Harjinder Singh, wherein he has been summoned to face trial under Section 3 of the SC/ST Act and Section 506 IPC by learned JMIC,SBS Nagar. Vide order dated 03.03.2016 it was directed that in the event of surrendering before the trial court within 10 days, petitioner be released on interim bail.

CRM-M 1835/2016(O&M) At the time of hearing today,learned counsel states that in compliance of the said order, petitioner surrendered before the trial court on 9.3.2016 and was released on interim bail. Learned State counsel on instructions is unable to refute the said factual position while the learned counsel for complainant opposes the grant of relief prayed for in the instant petition. After hearing the learned counsel for the parties, interim bail granted by the trial court, pursuant to the order dated 3.3.2016, is made absolute.
