**** ANITA CHAUDHRY, J This is the second petition filed by the petitioner seeking regular bail in FIR No. 17 dated 30.1.2017 registered under Sections 376, 120-B IPC and Section 4, 8 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act at Police Station Jodhan, Ludhiana. Later on, Section 120-B IPC was deleted and Sections 4 and 8 of POCSO Act were converted to Sections 6 and 8 of POCSO Act.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody since 20.2.2017 and the prosecutrix has been examined and the trial is taking time. Counsel further submits that there was a money dispute and can be borne out from the cross-examination of the victim. State counsel urges that the girl was only 14 years old and the medical report would show tear in the vagina. The allegations against the petitioner are serious. Crl. Misc. No. M-18385 of 2018 -2inclined to grant bail but since the custody of the petitioner is long, therefore directions are required to be given to the trial Court to expedite the trial.

The case is stated to be fixed for 20.9.2018. The trial Court would expedite the trial and complete it preferably within four months. The accused would not seek unnecessary adjournments and fully cooperate in the trial.

The petition is dismissed.
