Reply by way of affidavit of Iqbal Singh Dhaliwal, Superintendent, Central Jail, Bathinda on behalf of respondent Nos.1 & 2 has been filed in Court and the same is taken on record, subject to all just exceptions.

The present petition for grant of parole was filed on 04.03.2020. As per the reply, the petition had been released on bail on 14.07.2020 and was re-arrested in FIR No.90 dated 23.07.2021 under Sections 21(b), 27/61/85 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, registered at Police Station Nehian Wala, District Bathinda on 06.08.2021, after being transferred from District Jail Sri Muktsar Sahib. In these circumstances, no ground is made out to consider the prayer of parole. Resultantly, the present petition is dismissed.
