Prayer in the present petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. read with Article 21 of the Constitution of India is for issuance of directions to the trial Court to conclude the trial in case FIR No. 93, dated 25.05.2012, under Sections 323, 324, 406 and 498-A of the IPC, registered at Police Station Basti Bawsa Khel, Police District Jalandhar. 2.

Today there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. 3.

A status report, dated 21.05.2024, by way of an affidavit of Sh. Kulbhushan (PPS), Assistant Commissioner of Police, West, Jalandhar, has been filed by learned State counsel in Court today. The same is taken on record.

Learned counsel for the State while referring the aforesaid status report, submits that initially the FIR was registered at Police Station Basti Bawsa Khel, Police District Jalandhar. However, later on it was transferred to Samrala, District Ludhiana. Even the petitioner has mentioned in paragraph Nitin 2024.05.23 14:57 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRM-M-12027-2024 (O&M) -2No. 03 of the present petition that vide CH1/89937/2013, DOI 25.09.2013, CNR No. PBJL030042322013, the case was transferred to JMIC, Samrala for trial.

Learned State counsel has informed that all the prosecution witnesses have been examined and now the trial is pending for the defence evidence and arguments before the trial Court of Sh. Devnoor, JMIC, Samrala, Ludhiana.

Keeping in view the fact that the trial is almost complete and it is at the fag end as such, there is no necessity for issuance of any direction to the trial Court.

The present petition is accordingly disposed of. 8.

Pending miscellaneous application (s), if any, shall also stand disposed of.
