(O&M) CWP-5370-2026 Petition herein is, inter alia, seeking a writ in the nature of Certiorari for setting aside the order dated 04.11.2025 (Annexure P-2) passed by the learned Deputy Commissioner, Rewari, whereby respondent No.3 - Bhagat Singh has been appointed as the Chowkidar of Village Aasiaki Gorawas, Tehsil and District Rewari.

Ms. Upasana Dhawan, Assistant Advocate General, Haryana, appears on behalf of the respondent-State, in pursuance of the advance copy of paper book having already been supplied to her. She has raised a preliminary objection that the impugned order dated 04.11.2025 (Annexure P-2) is amenable to appeal under Rule 7-A of the Haryana Chowkidara (Watchman) Rules, 2013, in terms of the Government Notification dated 28.12.2022.

Faced with this situation, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the instant writ petition with liberty to the petitioner to avail his remedy of appeal before the competent forum.
