 The present petition has been filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of directions to the official respondents to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner at the hands of private respondent Nos.6 to 10.

After arguing for sometime, learned counsel for the petitioner contends that he would be satisfied in case the representation dated 19.02.2025 (Annexure P-5) be decided in a time bound manner.

Status report dated 18.03.2025 by way of affidavit of Mohan Singh, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, City District Gurdaspur on behalf of the respondent-State has been filed and the same is taken on record 4.

I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the material placed on record.

and further without commenting upon the merits of the case, Senior Superintendent of Police, Gurdaspur is directed to decide the representation dated 19.02.2025 (Annexure P-5) while assessing the threat perception and passing a speaking order, in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of passing of this order.
