Prayer in the instant petition filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of writ in the nature of habeas corpus to produce the detenue namely Rajwant Kaur who has allegedly been detained by the private respondents.
Ms. Aarti Sharma, Advocate has put in appearance and has filed vakalatnama on behalf of detenue-Rajwant Kaur, which is taken on record.
The alleged detenue has been produced by SI Charan Singh, Police Post, Sunny Enclave, Sector-125, Kharar, District SAS Nagar (Mohali) and she is present before this Court. She has stated that she does not want to join the company of the petitioner and wants to live with her children and in support thereof, she has filed an affidavit in Court today which is taken on record.
