In the present writ petition, the grievance being raised by the petitioner is that the petitioner is entitled for the grant of interest on the delayed release of leave encashment which was only released to him on 01.12.2023 even though the petitioner had retired from service on 31.03.2021.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that certain deductions have been made from the pensionary benefits of the petitioner, which is also arbitrary and illegal despite the fact that the same have already been stayed by this Court while passing order in CWP No.21887 of 2020 (Annexure P-5).

Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the grievance raised in the present petition has already been raised by the HARSHA RANI 2024.03.15 12:47 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CWP-5686-2024 2024:PHHC:034782 petitioner in the legal notice dated 29.01.2024 (Annexure P-11) which is still pending consideration with the respondents and the petitioner will be satisfied at this stage in case a time bound direction is issued to the respondents to decide the said legal notice by passing an appropriate speaking order.

Mr. Harish Nain, learned Assistant Advocate General, Haryana, who is present in the Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. 6.

Learned counsel for the respondents submits that in case the legal notice dated 29.01.2024 (Annexure P-11) has been received in the concerned office and is still pending consideration, the same will be decided by the authorities concerned within a period of eight weeks of the receipt of copy of this order.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that keeping in view the statement of learned counsel for the respondents, the present writ petition may kindly be disposed of having been not pressed any further. 8.
