**** HARSIMRAN SINGH SETHI , J. (Oral) In the present petition, the claim of the petitioners is for stepping-up of their pay, which has wrongly been rejected by the respondents. The claim has been made qua one Anil Kumar who is stated to be junior to the petitioners but was drawing higher salary than the petitioners.

In the reply filed, the respondents have stated that the said discrepancy came to the notice of the department concerned wherein, even Anil Kumar and others who were granted the benefits of higher salary incontravention to the service rules and the said benefit of higher salary has already been withdrawn from Anil Kumar and others by the respondentsdepartment. Keeping in view the said factual position coupled with the fact that no one has appeared on behalf of the petitioner to press the present petition, hence, the present petition stands dismissed for non-prosecution with liberty to the petitioners to revive the present petition in case any of the grievance of the petitioners still exists.
