(ORAL ) The present writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, with a prayer for grant of parole for 3 weeks for performing the marriage of his cousin. On a specific query being put to the learned counsel for the petitioner as to whether he has approached the concerned authorities for the grant of parole before approaching this Hon'ble Court, he has submitted that the petitioner had approached the concerned authorities but nobody had accepted the application for the grant of parole. I have heard the learned counsel for the parties. The petitioner shall be at liberty to file an appropriate application before the concerned authorities and in the event of filing of the same, it is directed that respondent No.2 shall consider the application of the petitioner for the grant of parole and thereafter, shall pass a speaking order strictly in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible. Petition stands disposed of accordingly.
