RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) The petitioners, in the instant petition, under section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, have sought quashing of G.D No. 41 dated 09.3.2016 registered under sections 323/341/506/148 and 149 IPC, at Police Station Division No.5, Police Commissionerate, Jalandhar, along with all consequential proceedings arising therefrom on the basis of compromise. In compliance of order dated 06.02.2017 passed by a coordinate Bench of this Court, report from Judicial Magistrate 1st Class Jalandhar, vide forwarding letter no.49 dated 17.2.2017, has been received. According to the report submitted by Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Jalandhar, compromise arrived at between the parties is genuine, voluntarily and without any coercion.
In view of the above report and compromise by way of affidavit Virender Kumar 2017.08.08 10:44 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
CRM-M-18653-2016 2 dated 08.03.2016 (Annexure P-3), arrived at between the parties, the instant petition is allowed. Consequently, G.D No. 41 dated 09.3.2016 registered under sections 323/341/506/148 and 149 IPC, at Police Station Division No.5, Police Commissionerate, Jalandhar, is quashed qua the petitioners only along with all consequential proceedings arising out therefrom. 03.8.2017 ( RAMENDRA JAIN ) VK JUDGE 1.
