Whether the judgment should be reported in the Digest? ***** Kuldip Singh , J.(Oral) Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner had lodged an FIR No. 160 dated 15.10.2015 under Sections 307, 324, 452, 148, 149 of IPC at Police Station Maur, District Bathinda (Annexure P-1) against respondent No.5. Now he is being threatened by private respondent No.5 to enter into a compromise. Prayer is for protecting the life and liberty of the petitioner and his family members at the hands of private respondent No.5.

In these circumstance, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Bathinda to look into the matter and ensure that the petitioner be not forced to enter into compromise and life and liberty of the petitioner and his family members be protected.
