The matter is taken up for hearing through video conference due to COVID-19 situation.

This is a petition under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. for issuance of directions to the official respondents to consider complaint dated 17th September, 2020.

Ms. Bhavna Gupta, Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, appearing on advance notice, submits that complaint was referred to Mr. Vimal Kant, ACP, Jalandhar on 17th September, 2020. On 1st October, 2020, the petitioner moved an application that the matter should not be looked into by the ACP, Jalandhar. Thereafter, the complaint was transferred to the Women Cell, Jalandhar, the matter is being enquired.
