******* SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the petition. He, however, submits that trial court may be directed to expedite the trial of the case. Learned State counsel submits that challan in this case has been presented and there are 62 witnesses. The prosecution will expedite the trial provided learned defence counsel co-operate by cross-examining the witnesses on the date, they appear.

In view of submission of learned counsel for the petitioner, present petition is dismissed as withdrawn. The trial Court is directed to expedite the trial of the case and dispose of the same at the earliest, provided defence counsel cooperate by cross-examining the witnesses on the date they appear.
