This petition was filed for issuance of directions to the official respondents for protection of life and liberty of the petitioners from the private respondents No. 4 to 7 arrayed in the petition. As per the pleadings, the petitioners had performed marriage against the wishes of their parents and there was a threat perception.

On 24th March, 2021, following order was passed:- "Notice of motion to respondents No.1 to 3 only at this stage.

Mr. Saurabh Girdhar, DAG, Haryana appearing on advance notice accepts the same and seeks time to have instructions.

Put up on 9.4.2021.

CRWP-2935-2021 -2In the meantime, the police official not below the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police should record the statements of the petitioners. In case a request is made by the petitioners, they may be provided shelter in safe house till the next date."

Mr. Deepak Bhardwaj, Deputy Advocate General, Haryana, on instructions from S.I. Rai Singh, submits that on request of the petitioners, they were provided shelter in the safe house at Jagadhari. They stayed there from 25.03.2021 to 30.03.2021. On 30.03.2021, the petitioners gave the affidavit that there is no threat perception and left the safe house.

None has put in appearance on behalf of the petitioners in spite of pass over.

In view of statement made by learned State counsel, no further directions are called for.

The petition is disposed of.
