The prayer made in the present petition is for directing the respondents to grant the regular pay scale of Rs.10300-34800+5000 after completion of three years contractual period and in view of judgment dated 01.05.2024 passed by this Court in CWP-5417-2020 (O&M) and other connected matter titled 'Deepa Raja and others versus State of Punjab and another', Annexure P-7, which has been implemented on 26.02.2205. 2.

Learned counsel submits that regarding the claim as raised in the present petition, a representation dated 07.08.2024, Annexure P-8, has been submitted, however, the same has yet not evoked any response. He thus, on instructions prays that a direction may be given to the respondents to decide the same in a time bound manner, to which learned State counsel has no objection to the limited prayer made.

In view of the above and without commenting on the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the PARVINDER SINGH 2025.03.01 15:36 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CWP No. 5583 OF 2025 respondents to consider and decide the representation dated 07.08.2024, Annexure P-8, within a period of 04 months, taking note of the aforereferred judgments which this Court has no reason to believe the authorities would not address in a just, fair and reasonable manner. Upon doing so, after notice and hearing offered to him and if found entitled, grant the benefit forthwith. Needless to say, if the orders are adverse to his interest, the same shall contain reasons and the petitioner shall be free to seek legal redress thereupon.
