Petitioner has approached this Court under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing order dated 14.06.2023, Annexure P-3, passed by Additional District Magistrate, Bathinda, whereby, application for renewal of licence under the Arms Act, 1959, was rejected, 2.

When confronted with the remedy of statutory appeal under Section 18 of the Arms Act, 1959, counsel for the petitioner has sought and is granted permission to withdraw the petition with liberty to approach the appellate authority.
