Kavita v. State Of Haryana And Others
IN THE HIGH COURT FOR THE STATES OF PUNJAB AND
HARYANA AT CHANDIGARH CWP No.6371 of 2019 (O&M) Date of Decision.18.07.2019 Kavita
...Petitioner
Vs State of Haryana and others
...Respondents
Present:
Mr. Sandeep Kumar Sharma, Advocate for the petitioner.
CORAM:HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE AMIT RAWAL -.- AMIT RAWAL J. (ORAL) Writ petition is devoid of merit as concededly petitioner's height was found 156.4 cm.
Counsel for petitioner submitted that in respect of process of appointment of female Constable in Chandigarh Administration, petitioner submitted an application and had undergone medical test whereby height of petitioner by concerned Department was measured as 157 cm, thus, petitioner fulfills the criteria.
I am afraid aforementioned argument would not be sustainable, as criteria of height in Chandigarh Administration would not be ground for consideration as in Haryana, minimum height is 158 cm.
No ground for interference is made out.
Dismissed.
