Through the instant writ petition, prayer is made for issuance of directions upon the respondents No.1 to 3, to expedite the investigation and present the chargesheet in FIR No.118 dated 11.04.2024, registered at P.S. Zirakpur, S.A.S. Nagar.

On the last date of hearing, i.e. 28.02.2025, this Court had, without issuing notice, directed the learned State counsel to inform this Court about the status of investigation in the FIR (supra). 3.

In deference to the directions of this Court, today the learned State counsel has filed a status report dated 18.03.2025, on affidavit of Jaspinder Singh, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Zirakpur, S.A.S. Nagar, which is taken on record. Copy of the status report is also supplied to the learned counsel for the petitioner.

The status report makes disclosure that, the investigation in the FIR (supra) has already been completed and even a Cancellation DEVINDER YADAV 2025.03.19 17:52 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CWP-5612-2025 Report has also been presented before the Illaqa Magistrate concerned, which is pending consideration.

In view of the disclosure (supra), the prayer made in the instant writ petition has become infructuous. Consequently, the instant petition is disposed of, as having been rendered infructuous. However, liberty is reserved to the petitioner to raise his grievance, if any, before the Illaqa Magistrate concerned.
