**** JAISHREE THAKUR, J.(Oral) This is a petition that has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No. 54 dated 12.10.2016, under Section 498-A & 406 IPC, registered at Police Station Women, Bathinda and charge-sheet dated 12.06.2017 as well as the subsequent proceedings. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he would be satisfied in case the trial Court is directed to expedite the trial. I have perused the pleadings and this Court feels that this is a fit case where the trial Court should be directed to expedite the trial since the complainant herself is evading in putting appearance. Ordered accordingly.

The trial Court is directed to conclude the trial expeditiously, preferably within a period of nine months.
