The petitioner has been in custody since 27.9.2013 for having been found in possession of 115 grams of intoxicating powder containing alprazolam. The petitioner has been enjoying the interim bail as the report of the Chemical Examiner had not been received. The petitioner is stated to be involved in a criminal case of similar nature. As the petitioner has remained in custody for a period of 10 months, the petition is allowed and the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds/ surety bonds to the satisfaction of the trial court.
