(Oral) This petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of Certiorari for quashing order dated 21.04.1989 (Annexure P-4), passed by the Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil)-cum-Collector, Surplus Area, Sirsa and order dated 05.03.1994 (Annexure P-9) passed by the Financial Commissioner, Haryana.

A perusal of the file reveals that on 11.02.2025, the following order was passed:

"As per office report, respondents No.5(iii), 6(v), 9, 10(vi), 11, 14, 15, 17, 18(ii), 19, 22 and 23 have died. Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks an HIMANI GUPTA 2025.04.11 16:47 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document/judgment High Court, Chandigarh

CWP-15375-1994 (O&M) -2accommodation to take necessary steps to implead the legal representatives of the aforesaid deceased-respondents as well as to comply with order dated 22.08.2024 passed by this Court. At his request, adjourned to 07.04.2025.

Needful be done before the next date of hearing. 3.

As per the office report, no steps have been taken for impleading the LRs of the deceased-respondents. 4.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner pleads no instructions from the petitioner and submits that despite his best efforts and writing letters to the petitioner, no one from the petitioner side has contacted him.

4.1 Learned counsel for the petitioner has handed over a photocopy of the address on envelop, at which the registered post was sent to the petitioner, in Court today, which is taken on record, subject to all just exceptions and marked as Mark 'A'.

Keeping in view the aforesaid submissions of learned counsel for the petitioner, the present writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. 6.

All pending application(s), if any, shall also stand closed. 7.

A copy of this order be sent to the petitioner at the address as mentioned at Mark 'A', which was supplied by learned counsel for the petitioner in Court today.
