The petitioner through instant petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking setting aside of order dated 22.12.2002 (Annexure P-4) whereby he was ordered to retire as per Rule 9.18(2) of Punjab Police Rules, 1934 as applicable to State of Haryana. 2.

The impugned order was passed on 22.12.2002. The notice was issued, however, there was no stay in favour of the petitioner, thus, impugned order was implemented and petitioner was made to retire on completion of 30 years' service.

The petitioner was made to retire on completion of 30 years' service and his service was pensionable, thus, he must have received pension which is 50% of last drawn salary. He had not worked during DEEPAK BISSYAN 2025.08.22 10:33 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
