Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and while refraining from making any expression as regards merits of the case or as regards veracity of averments made in the petition, the petition is disposed off with a direction to respondent No.2-Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana to get the matter examined thoroughly, so that appropriate action, as may be warranted under facts and circumstances of the case, which are found to be substantiated, is taken in accordance with law. The matter be got throughly examined so as to ascertain the veracity of the allegations.
