M.M.S. BEDI, J. (ORAL) This is a petition for quashing of FIR No.30 dated 2.4.2012, under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 & 120-B IPC, registered at Police Station, I.A. Saha, District Ambala, registered at the instance of respondent No.2 Anil Kumar alleging that the petitioner connived with his other co-accused and prepared a forged agreement of sale with an intention to grab the property of the complainant.

So far as the petitioner is concerned, he is an attesting witness who had put his signatures on the forged agreement of sale. Statements of the complainant and the petitioner have been recorded indicating that though other persons are named as accused but compromise has been arrived at with one person.

CRM-M-178-2015 (O&M) Partial quashing of FIR does not appear to be appropriate. State counsel, on the instructions of SI Prabhu Ram, informs that other accused are facing trial. This petition is dismissed as not maintainable. However, it will be open to the petitioner to seek the benefit of compromise during the course of trial.
