The present petition has been filed under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023, for issuance of direction to the respondents to conduct a fair, impartial and speedy investigation on the representation dated 19.02.2025 (Annexure P-1), submitted by the petitioner to respondents No.2 to 4. Further prayer has been made to direct the respondents to decide the representation dated 19.02.2025 (Annexure P-1). 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner, inter alia, contends that the petitioner is an NRI and U.S. citizen and he has inherited property in village Gohir and Boparai and other places and the family members of the petitioner, in the presence of relatives and respectable persons of the village, partitioned the property in the month of February, 2024 and while the petitioner was abroad, some miscreants unlawfully occupied his house in village Gohir, damaged it, and took possession of valuable items in the month of January, 2025. CRM-M-11007-2025 Singh, who was entrusted with looking after the house, was also threatened and the said miscreants are preventing entry and posting threatening videos online and despite filing a representation with authorities on 19.02.2025 (Annexure P-1), no action has been taken. 3.
Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner would be satisfied, in case a direction is issued to respondent No.3 to consider and decide the representation dated 19.02.2025 (Annexure P-1) submitted by the petitioner in a time bound manner. 4.

On asking of the Court, Mr. Sandeep Kumar, DAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents - State. Learned counsel for the petitioner is directed to supply copy of complete paperbook to counsel opposite during the course of the day. 6.
Keeping in view the prayer made by the petitioner and without commenting anything on the merits of the case, present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 to consider and decide the representation dated 19.02.2025 (Annexure P-1) submitted by the petitioner within a period of 04 weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order, in accordance with law.
