Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, inter-alia, for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari setting aside the advertisement No.1 & 2 dated 05.03.2021 vide which Diploma is prescribed as essential qualification for recruitment to the post(s) of Junior Engineer (Civil) and is being interpreted as bar for the candidates with higher qualifications.

Learned counsel for the parties are ad-idem that in view of the order of even date passed in CWP No.7850 of 2021 titled as 'Nikhil Goyal Vs. State of Punjab and another', nothing survives in the present writ petition and as such the same be disposed off. Ordered accordingly.
