In the present petition, the prayer of the petitioners is two fold, one is that while considering the claim of the petitioners for the post of Veterinary Livestock Development Assistant (V. L. D. A.), the exservicemen candidates has been clubbed with the dependent of the exservicemen, which action on the part of the respondents-department is contrary to the instructions issued by the respondents-State as the exservicemen candidates have a priority of appointment as compared to the dependents of the ex-servicemen.

The second prayer of the petitioners is that the diploma which the petitioners have submitted so as to prove their eligibility for the post in question has not been taken into account on the ground that the same has been issued by the Armed Forces, whereas, the same diploma has already been considered to be a valid one by the Government of Haryana. 3.
Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the grievance as raised in the present petition has already been raised before the authorities concerned vide representations dated 07.02.2024 & 13.02.2024, copy of which has been annexed as Annexure P-7 and the petitioner will be satisfied at this stage, in case, the said representation is decided by RIYA 2024.03.14 17:46 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Mr. Harish Nain, AAG, Haryana, who is present in Court, accepts notice for the respondents. Learned State counsel submits that in case representations dated 07.02.2024 & 13.02.2024 (Annexure P-7) is still pending consideration before the authority concerned, the said representation will be decided within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order by passing an appropriate speaking order. 6.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that keeping in the statement made by the Learned State counsel, the present petition may kindly be disposed of having been not pressed any further. 7.
