SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) This petition is for seeking protection of life and liberty of petitioners, who alleged to have married against the wishes of respondents No. 4 to 6, parents and brother of petitioner No.1. Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that that both the petitioners are major. The date of birth of petitioner No.1-Deeksha Rani is 09.01.1995 as per copy of Aadhaar Card (Annexure P-1) and that of petitioner No.2-Navpreet Singh is 10.10.1994 as per copy of Voter Identity Card (Annexure P-2). They got married on 24.05.2015. Photographs of marriage are Annexure P-4. It has been further submitted that both the petitioners are residing at village Sanipur, Tehsil and District Fatehgarh Sahib, as such, directions be issued to Senior Superintendent of Police, Fatehgarh Sahib to look into the representation dated 24.05.2015 (Annexure P-5) which they have sent to Senior Superintendent of Police, Ropar. In view of the limited prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioners and without expressing any opinion on the validity of marriage of petitioners, this petition is disposed of with direction to Senior Superintendent of Police, Fatehgarh Sahib to look into the representation dated 24.05.2015 (Annexure P-5) and take appropriate action in accordance with law, on receipt of certified copy of this order along with representation in his office.
