The present Civil Writ Petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent Nos.1 and 2 to take the final decision on the charge-sheet dated 02.05.2023.

Learned counsel submits that the petitioner, has not been granted the retiral benefits due to pendency of a charge sheet served on him on 02.05.2023, Annexure P-10, after he retired on 31.10.2022, wherein no further proceedings have been carried out. The solitary prayer made is for directing the respondents to complete the proceedings in a time bound manner, for which even a legal notice dated 18.10.2023, Annexure P-12, had been sent. 3.
