Affidavit dated 23.01.2025 of Swapnil Ravindra Patil, Additional Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Faridabad is taken on record. Registry is directed to tag the same at an appropriate place. 2.
The petitioners are seeking direction to respondents to extend pay scale at par with Sanitary Inspectors posted with State Government departments.

The petitioners joined as Sanitary Inspectors with Municipal Corporation, Faridabad during 1980. They were getting pay scale at par with Sanitary Inspectors posted in different departments of State Government.
CWP No. 9517 of 1996(O&M) -2- In 1984, the State Government changed nomenclature of Sanitary Inspector and substituted by 'Multi Purpose Health Supervisor'. The officials working with State Government with effect from01.01.1986 were extended pay scale of Rs. 1400-2600 whereas pay scale of petitioners was not revised. 4.
The petitioners are claiming that they are performing same duties as performed by counter parts placed with State Government Departments. The designation of Sanitary Inspector working with Medical College, Rohtak was also substituted by 'Multi Purpose Heath Supervisor' and they are also getting pay scale at par with State Government employees. 5.
Mr. Pritam Saini, Advocate submits that as per affidavit dated 23.01.2025 of Municipal Corporation, Faridabad, the petitioners are performing same set of duties as performed by Multi Purpose Health Supervisors in the State of Haryana. They deserve pay at par with employees of State of Haryana. The employees of Corporation are some times posted with State Government, thus, they are inter-changeable. The Municipal Corporation is requesting the State Government to grant approval to extend pay scale to petitioners as available to employees of State Government. 6.
In the wake of affidavit dated 23.01.2025 and submission of Mr. Pritam Saini, Advocate, the petition stands disposed of with a direction to State Government to consider claim of petitioners within three months from today. The State Government shall consider the fact that petitioners are five in number and are lodging claim since 1995.
