MANJARI NEHRU KAUL, J. (ORAL) Petitioner is seeking the concession of anticipatory bail under Section 438 of the Cr.P.C. in case FIR No.274 dated 29.09.2020 under Sections 307, 34 of the IPC and Section 25 of the Arms Act, 1959, registered at Police Station Sadar Amritsar, District Police Commissionerate Amritsar, as his bail has been cancelled and non-bailable warrant of arrests have been issued against him vide order dated 14.12.2023 (Annexure P-3) passed by the trial Court. 2.
After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is ready and willing to appear and surrender before the trial Court within seven days from today and, therefore, he be protected till then, with directions to the trial Court that his bail application, which he would be filing on his surrender, be decided expeditiously.

In view of the limited prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petition is disposed of with direction to the petitioner to appear and surrender before the trial Court within a period of seven days from today. Till then, no coercive steps shall be taken against the petitioner. This shall, however, be subject to deposit of `10,000/- with the District Legal Services Authority, Amritsar. 7.
It is made clear that in case, the petitioner fails to surrender before the trial Court within seven days from today, this order shall be of no avail to him, thereafter. In case, on appearance and surrender, the petitioner moves an application for bail before the trial Court, the same shall be decided expeditiously by the trial Court in accordance with law.
