(Oral) Prayer in this petition is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, in a case arising out of F.I.R No. 42 of 13.04.2016, under Sections 498-A/406 IPC, registered at P.S. Women Cell, District Jalandhar. This Court vide order dated 27.08.2016 directed the parties to appear before the Mediation Centre for an amicable settlement. As per report of Mediation Centre, parties have settled their dispute amicably (Flag 'A') In view of the fact that the matter stands compromised between the parties, order dated 27.05.2016 passed by this Court whereby the adinterim anticipatory bail was granted to the petitioner is made absolute. The petitioner shall continue to join the investigation as and when required to do so and abide by all the conditions as envisaged under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C However, the petitioner is at liberty to file fresh bail bonds after presentation of the challan.
