(ORAL) Through this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C., prayer has been made for quashing FIR No. 55 dated 22.03.2008 (Annexure P-1) registered under Section 420 IPC at Police Station Phillaur, District Jalandhar (Rural) and all proceedings arising therefrom. On instructions from ASI Vijay Kumar, learned State counsel submits that the instant petition has rendered infructuous, in view of acquittal petitioner vide judgment dated 20.08.2018. In view of the above, the instant petition is dismissed as having been rendered infructuous.
