Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, inter-alia, for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari quashing the selection criteria on seniority in age basis of a candidate having lower marks than younger candidate as well as clause 9 of Advertisement No.1/2016 being irrational.

At the outset, learned counsel, on instructions from the petitioner submitted that instead of pressing the present petition on merits, her client would be satisfied in case the legal notice dated 27.08.2021 (P-6) is decided expeditiously.
